Your membership gives you unlimited access during our studio hours:

Mon-Thurs → 12-4pm

Most Saturdays → 12-3pm

You’re welcome to come to as many sessions as you like!

Cost: $9/kg

Minimum charge: 3kg

Cost: $12/kg

Minimum charge: 3kg

Who is this for?

Our membership is for anyone who wants to spend time practicing and developing their skills in a community environment, without the time pressure of paying by the hour or enrolling for weekly classes.

Members must be fairly self sufficient in the studio, so we ask that you have completed at least one of our 8 week courses or have equivalent experience from elsewhere. If you’re not sure, just ask!

What happens when I’m in the studio?

You have access to all of our equipment and tools, including our studio glazes, underglazes, and slip. Additional Mayco brush-on glazes are available for purchase if you want to expand your palette.

During our open studio hours, there will always be a studio technician or a teacher around to help you get set up and to ask questions if you get stuck. They can guide you in the right direction, but are not there to teach. The learning is up to you! Members have a lot to teach each other, and this community can be one of the most rewarding aspects of studio membership.

Being in a busy studio can lead to new ideas and conversations. We have a ceramic reference library you can browse, and there is always a huge range of pots moving around the studio to look at for inspiration.
